The Wellhead platform consisted of production/test manifolds, power generation, MCC Building, multi-phase meters, pig traps, and all required utilities (crane, diesel handling, chemical injection, instrument air, and water treating).
Execution
EDG, Inc. commingled well production from the new production platform to flow directly to the existing Water Injection Platform via a 12 in. multiphase pipeline. We also performed a major upgrade of the existing Water Injection Platform including production separation upgrades, additional pig traps, new anti-slug mitigation, increased power generation, additional new crude oil pumps, new turbine-driven water injection pumps, and modifications to platform utilities.
EDG performed detailed engineering, drafting, procurement, Water injection Platform Brownfield execution planning, construction support, and on-site supervision for both New platform and Brownfield Upgrades. EDG spent over 200,000 man-hours. From the start of detailed engineering, platform ready for first oil was achieved in 24 months.
