Substation Transformer Upgrade
EDG, Inc.'s Utility Service Group provided construction oversight services in upgrading a transformer to eliminate overload conditions.
EDG’s substation transformer upgrade scope of work included:
- Replacing existing 10MVA T1 transformer with 33MVA 69 kV./13.8 kV. unit with LTC
- Adding 1,200A feeder breaker
- Re-conducting and constructing approximately 1.9 miles of distribution line utilizing 795 Al
