EDG’s project’s scope of work to relocate substation control room included:
- Installing pre-fabricated control house to accommodate accelerated schedule (complete with all relays and communications terminated to marshalling rack)
- Pulling cables from new control house to instrumentation
- Contracting local distribution co-op to provide station service while SSVT (Station Service Voltage Transformer) arrives
- Adding fencing and limestone to complete separation of switchyard from former power plant
