EDG was selected by Williams to execute this project because of their familiarity with the Devils Tower Spar and because of the work performed on the Triton/Goldfinger Project. EDG was involved in all facets of this project including engineering of the topsides modifications and equipment additions, detailed design, procurement support, fabrication inspection, construction planning, installation support and regulatory support. The new 150 MMscfd gas train included a Taurus Booster Compressor and a new stainless steel vent system to handle the sub-zero temperatures expected when the Bass Lite production stream is depressurized. Temporary production facilities, including chemical injection facilities and controls, were installed for 75 MMscfd to accelerate startup by 6 months.
