EDG Metairie participated in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K” that took place on for October 11, 2008 on the New Orleans Lakefront. The Metairie office had 23 employees, family members and friends participate in the walk. We successfully exceeded our donation goal and ranked as one of the top three companies participating in the walk who donated for the cure.
EDG donated $1000 to the EDG Community Service Team for the Making Strides Foundation.
The final results of EDG's 2008 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer are as followed:
- $4,941.00 raised overall
- Laura Rock placed 9th among top individuals with $920.00 in contributions
- EDG placed first among top teams participating
- EDG placed second among top companies participating
