Sometimes it's the small things that make the biggest impact, like cute and comfy socks to warm your feet when your holiday season has to be spent indoors. EDG employees collected socks for the month of December to give to the children with cancer at Tulane Hospital and Children's Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana as part of the Happy Feet program. Two EDG employees assisted other volunteers to pass out the warm gifts on December 18-19, 2008.
EDG collected 545 pairs of socks and enough money to purchase 33 DVDs for the children in need.
