PASSWORD

I. How do I find my password? (Forgotten Password)

Answer:

  1. Select Candidate Log In and once there select Forgot your password? (This will allow you to reset your password.)
  2. Remember it must be at least 8 characters long and include a number, an uppercase and a lowercase letter.
  3. Your username will always be your email address.

II. How do I log in if my resume was submitted by someone other than myself?

BASIC

I. How do I submit my Resume?

Answer:

  1. You may select the “Submit Resume” tab on the Careers page and then complete all information highlighted in RED* to create an account.
  2. You can upload your resume by selecting “browse” and choosing your resume from the storage device you have it saved on –OR- you can fill out the online application manually.
  3. All items highlighted in RED* must be filled out in order to submit your application/resume.
  4. Once completed you can apply to the position of interest.

II. How do I submit my resume without applying to a requisition?

Answer:

  1. You may select the “Submit Resume” tab on the Careers page and then complete all information highlighted in RED*to create an account.
  2. You can upload your resume by selecting “browse” and choosing your resume from the storage device you have it saved on –OR- you can fill out the online application manually.
  3. All items highlighted in RED*must be filled out in order to submit your application/resume.

III. When should I expect to receive feedback on my application?

Answer:

  1. We try to reply to all applicants as quickly as possible.
  2. However, due to time constraints and changing project demands our hiring managers may not be able to review resumes immediately.
  3. Please be patient as all resumes will be reviewed and those candidates chosen for further consideration will be contacted.
  4. In the event that your application is not chosen for further consideration you will at a minimum receive correspondence from our talent acquisition team making you aware of the fact.

IV. Can I email my resume if the system will not allow me to upload it?

Answer:

  1. Yes you may but only if you have already created a resume profile. Follow these Résumé/CV Email Reader Instructions:
    1. Open your email client and start a new message addressed to: edg@resumes.hrsmart.com.
      Note: The email address being used to send must match one within the system to permit the upload.
    2. For a single résumé/CV, attach the single résumé/CV file to the email or copy and paste the résumé/CV inside the email body.
      Note: Either attach the file or send it in the body. The system will not be able to process both.
    3. To be added as a candidate to a requisition, include the requisition # in the "To" address of the email. This will tell the system to attach the applicant to the defined requisition.
      For example, type edg+abc@resumes.hrsmart.com in the "To" field for a requisition # of "ABC". Note: Be sure to include the plus (+) sign.

ERRORS

I. "Error: That email address already exists in the system."?

Answer:

  1. This indicates that your email address is already part of our applicant database and a profile already exists in our system for you.

II. "Error: Invalid File Type"

Answer:

  1. Some forms of your resume such as a scanned copy may not be recognized by the system.
  2. Your resume must be submitted as an MS Word or PDF file for the system to recognize it.

Third Party Recruiters

I. How do we submit candidates for open postitions?

  1. In order to do business with EDG Inc. and/or any of its subsidiaries you must first be an approved vendor and have an agreement in place with the Corporate Talent Acquisition Group.
  2. Any candidates submitted to the corporate talent acquisition group or any individual employee of EDG Inc. and/or its subsidiaries without first meeting the requirements of the above statement will be considered unsolicited and will not be eligible for a fee.
  3. Once an approved vendor you will be directed to the vendor portal for all candidate submissions.  This is the only avenue to submit candidates to EDG Inc. and/or any of its subsidiaries.
