Both oil company and consulting engineering and management experience includes conceptual and feasibility engineering, front-end engineering and design, detailed design, transportation, installation, hookup, commissioning and startup of domestic and international offshore facilities ranging from shallow water facilities to deepwater subsea developments. Project management experience also includes executing various phase-gated project management processes, project execution planning, project controls, contracting strategy development, economic evaluation, contract negotiations and production handling agreements. Managed multiple projects through entire life cycle from conceptual engineering all the way through startup, operations handover and subsequent long term operations support from both office and field perspectives.
Examples are:
- a $210MM new field development in Gabon, West Africa consisting of four fixed platforms, 24 miles of in-field pipelines and a floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel.
- a $87MM deepwater subsea development project located in 1,800 ft in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities include overall project and interface management for all project disciplines including subsea, umbilical, pipeline, risers, flow assurance, topsides and operations.
- Project manager for the detailed design, project and construction management of a $70MM major field upgrade offshore Angola, West Africa.
