When EDG was formed in 1982, the founding partners of our firm were determined to build a company that operated with a markedly different approach than anyone else. This derived from the observation that the oil and gas industry had a rather distinctive culture. Business dealings were solely based on profit and the bottom line.
The founders were convinced that in order to deliver work of the highest quality, they needed to create an environment at EDG to promote the building of character.
By this we mean that we have created an environment at EDG to emphasize the significance of performing our jobs ethically, morally, and with the uppermost degree of integrity.
And we gauge ourselves by it. We are extremely involved in this exceptional character-building program called Character First! It is integral to our continued success and impacts all levels of our organization.
