Project description:
EDG provided engineering and drafting services for a 750HP compressor installation and facility upgrade. Project included the addition of compressor, production manifold, I.P. and L.P. separators, surge tank, and pipeline and charge pumps into limited spacing. Structural tasks included designing deck strengthening, compressor shed with bridge crane, firewall and walk-way extensions. New pneumatic and electric control panels were also designed. Platform vent, fuel gas, and firefighting systems were evaluated and modified. All piping and structural drafting was done in 3D. EDG assisted with bid preparation, evaluation, and detailed installation planning to minimize production downtime.
