Project description:
The "Genesis" SPAR is a floating drilling and production facility with a hull measuring 122 feet in diameter and 700 feet long moored in 2,600 feet of water. The three-level topside with a deck surface area of 10,000 square feet is designed to handle 55,000 barrels of oil and 72 million cubic feet of gas. EDG provided various engineering services in support of production opera-tions and facility modifications including process and instrument diagrams, safety flow diagrams and SAFE charts, equipment layouts and process simulation, detailed design and PDMS modeling, project management, procurement, construction management, permitting, hull entry procedures and coordination and general structural support and analysis.
