Project description:
EDG provided engineering, detailed design, drafting
and construction management for the reapplication of an existing facility located in 288 ft. water depth. The deck and jacket were salvaged, all of the facility equipment on the deck was removed, and approximately 15 percent of the equipment was refurbished for reuse. The remaining equipment was specified and fabricated for the revised facility (29 skids/equipment packages). The jacket was extended 14 feet at the base plus eight new risers were installed. The deck was modified to add 6,500 sq. ft. at deck area and allow a platform rig to tie back and complete two pre-drilled wells. Deck additions were required on the main, cellar and subcellar deck in order to convert the facility from a 50 MMSCFD gas facility to a 6,000 BOPD and 30,000 MMSCFD gas facility. Additions provided capacity for dehydration, oil and gas sales, compression, and water treatment with an overall increase in weight from 720 to 1,200 tons
